American singer Diana Ross has launched her debut fragrance Diamond Diana with US retailer Home Shopping Network (HSN).

Inspired by love and music, the new clear fragrance is said to be exclusively released on 5 December at HSN stores and the HSN.com website.

HSN chief merchandising officer Carmen Bauza said: “It is an absolute honour to welcome Diana Ross to the HSN family, and provide her with a platform to share not only her new fragrance but the stories that have laid the foundation for her brilliant career.

A Simon James London brand, Diamond Diana will be £71 for a 100ml glass-diamond bottle. The packaging has been designed by Diana and inspired by her special crystal collection.

Diana Ross said: “This personal fragrance is inspired by the powerful connection between music and sensual memories.

“Sensual scent vibrations are carried from heart to heart like music. Everyone should have a diamond.”

The new perfume comes in a black velvet jewellery box, decorated with silk black and bordeaux floppy ribbon. It is embossed with 24-karat gold dust.
