Clariant has unveiled Essence, a new collection of personal care products made with natural ingredients.

The collection includes skincare treatments, shampoos, hydrating hair masks, makeup serums, face creams, hand foams, shaving foams, and diaper cream.

The products are claimed to be formulated without parabens, a formaldehyde donor, methylisothiazolinones (MIT), methylchloroisothiazolinones (CMIT), sulfates, betaines, silicones, petrolatum, or mineral oils.

Amazonian Exfoliating Cleansing Powder is a new water-less product developed to provide natural exfoliation by removing dirt and impurities to deliver soft skin.

Made with a blend of Aristoflex BLV, omegas six and nine, phytosterols, and Plantasens Avocado Serum, the new Avocado Ageless Bounce Cream claims to offer moisturisation, improve firmness, and protect the skin.

“Today’s consumers are choosing skin and haircare products based on naturally-derived, skin-friendly ingredients for their daily regimens.”

The firm has also introduced the new Simple Splendor Cleansing Cream, which has a combination of three gentle, sulfate-free surfactants that provide a creamy lather.

Simple Splendor features Glucotain Care that is said to enhance the lather, eliminating the need for sulfates, betaines, oils, or additional conditioners.

Essence by Clariant also comprises the Energising Scalp Tonic dry shampoo for men, formulated to refresh hair and maintain a healthy scalp.

The new Every Which Way Refreshing Men’s Powder Cleanser contains Allantoin to calm irritated skin and Aristoflex Velvet to provide nourishment.

Clariant’s industrial and consumer specialties marketing head Vincent Gass said: “Today’s consumers are choosing skin and haircare products based on naturally-derived, skin-friendly ingredients for their daily regimens.

“With Essence by Clariant, we’ve broken formulation and market conventions and used only consumer-friendly ingredients to create market-ready products capable of offering new beauty experiences and sparking emotions.”
