Deals this week: Bod Australia, Colgate-Palmolive, Capacity

Bod Australia has raised A$3.2m ($2.44m) through a private placement of ten10 million shares.

Taylor Collison was the lead manager for the placement.

The proceeds are intended to be used by Bod to expand its existing product portfolio to increase its market share in domestic and international marketplaces.

Colgate-Palmolive Company (Colgate) has entered an agreement with Physicians Care Alliance to acquire its PCA skin brand for an undisclosed sum.

Colgate-Palmolive has also agreed to acquire the EltaMD brand from EltaMD.

The combined net sales revenue of PCA Skin and EltaMD is estimated to be approximately $100m for the fiscal year 2017.

Wachtell, Lipton and Rosen & Katz were the legal advisors to Colgate for the transaction.

Scheduled for completion on 31 March 2018, the transaction will enable Colgate to expand its skincare range.

Capacity has agreed with Glossier to provide order fulfillment, e-commerce and electronic data interchange services.

Glossier will utilise Capacity’s multiple quality control terminals, shipping terminals and dedicated satellite packing stations to deliver its beauty products.
