Moroccan Prestige launches new skincare and haircare line

US-based manufacturer Moroccan Prestige has launched new skin and haircare product line Botanika Marrakech.

The new line is the result of study and research carried out by the company and its collaborators to create products based on Moroccan Argan oil.

Moroccan Prestige co-founder Zineb Atouani said: “Every one of our skincare and haircare products represents the combined efforts of many different worlds.

“From the Berber village women who hand-harvest and hand-select the best argan nuts, to the high-tech facility where we make high-quality extra-virgin argan oil, to the international customers who have embraced our skincare and haircare products, Botanika represents a global community of health and beauty.”

The company said that both traditional and modern techniques such as handpicking of argan fruits to machine processing were employed in the manufacturing process of Botanika Marrakech.

Moroccan Prestige has used entirely automated production machines, which are designed to open the kernels, remove the seeds of the hand harvested argan fruit, and feed them into the press to extract oil in a first cold pressing at a temperature of less than 28°C.

According to the company, its products do not contain any chemicals such as parabens, colorants, formaldehyde, and micro-plastics. They are also said to be natural, halal, vegan, and not animal-tested.
