Bertshire to distribute Microskin products in Italy

Specialist distributor Bertshire will complete its due diligence and agree to terms to exclusively distribute Microskin products across Italy.

The beauty industry of Italy has an annual turnover of €9bn. Bertshire will expand on its current product range and boost sales of all Microskin products into the pharmacy, hypermarket, supermarket, beauty salon, and cosmetic marketplaces.

The products include an all-in-one-bottle of ISOCOL rubbing alcohol antiseptic for applications such as general cleaning and skin treatment.

Microskin's global markets director David Robinson said: "Microskin and Bertshire are a great match for our growth plans in Italy to drive distribution of current and future Microskin products.

"Bertshire has an established distribution network throughout Italy and their team consists of some of the most experienced people in cosmetics distribution in the country."

Microskin offers personalised, colour-matched, waterproof, second-skin products to address concerns such as vitiligo, rosacea, birthmarks, burns, eczema, lupus, keloid scarring, and tattoos.

Bertshire's director Roberto Marchetti said: "We see a great opportunity in the Italian marketplace for Microskin products.

"Their current camouflage product is ideal for beauty salons and pharmacies and the new range of products like the sunscreen and acne products only compliment the offering.
