Carun opens new flagship store in UK

Carun, a hemp based products manufacturer in the Czech Republic, has opened a new flagship store and cannabis pharmacy in the UK, in a move to expand its product presence.

The company now has 28 stores in Europe where it sells a wide range of products including all-purpose hemp ointment, oils, creams, soap and syrups, as well as food products.

Carun’s products were previously only available to purchase online.

Carun managing director Michal Takac said:"Carun products are made using the curing elixirs of the cannabis plant and the range has been very well received by the UK market thus far.

"After only a short time of selling the brand online, we are excited to have opened the first ever cannabis pharmacy in the UK.

"We’re investing heavily to ensure the unique benefits of the Carun range are fully communicated to our target market and we are excited about the potential growth and demand for hemp based products here in the UK."

Carun is the only company to produce medical products from botanical species of Cannabis Sativa, which is known for its super healing properties.

Figures released by the Soil Association’s 2015 Organic Market Report show that around £1.4m was spent on organic products by shoppers every week last year.

Over 29% of the consumers prefer ethically sourced and environmentally friendly products with the market now valued at over £1.86bn.
