Castanea acquires minority stake in skincare products company First Aid Beauty

Private equity firm Castanea Partners has acquired a minority stake in skincare products company First Aid Beauty (FAB) for an undisclosed amount.

Founded in 2009, FAB offers a wide range of skincare products including cleansers, exfoliators, moisturizers, serums and masks.

These products that are free of harsh chemicals and known allergens address several skin challenges such as aging, dryness, redness, eczema, acne and sun protection.

FAB’s allergy tested products are distributed through Sephora, as well as other domestic and select international beauty retail and ecommerce retailers.

First Aid Beauty founder and CEO Lilli Gordon said: "Having personally grown FAB every step of the way, I could not imagine a better partner than Castanea.
