Clarisonic unveils new Sonic makeup brush

L'Oréal skincare brand Clarisonic has unveiled new electronic makeup applicator Sonic Foundation Brush.

Expected to launch by the end of this month, the new brush has a detachable soft bristle head equipped with the firm's patented oscillating technology.

The brush head generates more than 18,000 micro-blends per minute, which helps to blend and contour makeup products such as liquid or stick foundation, as well as other products such as concealer, liquid highlighters, and contour products, reported The Malay Mail online.

With an option to detach for cleaning purposes, the new Sonic Foundation Brush is compatible with the firm's existing cleansing tools Mia 1, Mia 2, Mia FIT, and Smart Profile.

The brush is currently available for pre-order on the brand's website clarisonic.com.

Based in Seattle, Clarisonic originally invented the Sonic skin cleansing technique in 2004 and is reported to have sold more than 15 million of its patented devices so far.
