Coty appoints Camillo Pane as CEO

US-based cosmetics company Coty has appointed Camillo Pane as chief executive officer and member of the Coty's board.

These will be effective following the closure of the merger of P&G Specialty Beauty into Coty, which is expected in October 2016.

Bart Becht, who is currently the interim CEO and chairman of Coty, will continue to serve as the chairman of Coty’s board.

Pane presently is the executive vice president of Coty’s category development and is a member of the Coty's executive committee.

Pane is a global consumer goods veteran. Before joining Coty, Pane was with Reckitt Benckiser (RB) for two decades, most recently as head of its global health and personal care business.

He has experience in integration of acquisitions across a wide range of geographies.
