Coty selects Sophie Turner as brand ambassador for Wella Professionals

Coty’s division Coty Professional Beauty has selected actress Sophie Turner as the new global ambassador for its haircare brand Wella Professionals.

Turner is said to make bold hair colour transformations, which is expected to inspire the brand’s beauty enthusiasts and hair stylists.

The actress will work in collaboration with the brand for launch of new products through multi-faceted public relations campaigns.

Coty Professional Beauty chief marketing officer Laura Simpson said: “She’s an exceptionally talented artist who represents a generation of women which like to express themselves by wearing premium-looking, sophisticated hair colour.

“Exceptional hair colour results are only possible in the salon and using the best products and services, something which Wella Professionals proudly offers Sophie, as well as millions of women and men around the world.”

Turner will initially appear in Wella Professionals’ North American summer / autumn campaign for its EIMI styling collection.

Earlier this year, the actress wore various looks on the red carpet, all created using EIMI products.

Turner said: “I’m honoured to be named the face of Wella Professionals, an iconic beauty brand that encourages women like me to be bold in their choices.

“Working with them is a great creative collaboration because it gives life to my on-screen characters and allows me to express my personality off-screen as well.”

Starting next month, Turner will also appear in the brand’s global marketing, social media content, print and digital advertising, and in-store displays.

Coty Professional Beauty mainly provides hair and nail services to salon owners and professionals. Its portfolio brands include Wella Professionals, Sebastian Professional, OPI and ghd.
