Deal this week: Unilever, Shanghai Jiaoda Onlly

Unilever NV has announced $785.36m of floating rate notes available to the public, carrying a coupon rate of 1.125% due in April 2028.

In addition, $336.58m is due April 2020, and $560.97m of 0.5% notes is due April 2024.

The offering follows a $15bn debt issuance programme announced by the company last week.

Unilever PLC and Unilever United States will act as guarantors for the notes, which will be offered until 29 April 2016.

Issuing the notes will be Banco Santander, S.A., Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch, Goldman Sachs International, HSBC Bank plc, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Mizuho International plc, Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, The Royal Bank of Scotland plc and UBS AG.

Part of the proceeds will also be used for other general corporate purposes.

Shanghai Jiaoda Onlly Co Ltd has announced that it will offer 80,000,000 A shares for purchase in order to raise $226.46m, which will be used by the company to repay its pending loans and for investment in future projects.

Shares will be priced at $2.83 per share and will be sold through a private placement.

Shanghai Jiaoda Onlly Co Ltd is a China-based company that deals with development, production and distribution of healthcare products.
