L Catterton invests in Espaçolaser in Brazil

Private equity company L Catterton has made an investment in laser hair removal company Grupo Espaçolaser.

The investment will be used to support and accelerate Bazil-based Espaçolaser’s continued growth.

Founder of Espaçolaser Dr Ygor Moura said: "L Catterton brings the expertise of a global consumer investor, combined with vast experience elevating strong brands with enormous appeal.

At present, Espaçolaser has 130 company-owned and franchise locations across the country. Last year, it partnered with Xuxa Meneghel and José Carlos Semenzato to develop and grow its network.
