Neubourg Pharma launches Allpresan Diabetic Foot Foam Creams in UK

Neubourg Pharma UK has launched Allpresan Diabetic Foot Foam Creams in the UK, designed to heal and prevent dry cracked skin and calluses on diabetic feet.

The Allpresan Diabetic Foam Creams including Allpresan INTENSIVE and Allpresan BASIC are claimed to be clinically approved for safe usage on the entire foot including between the toes.

They are formulated with Allpresan’s patented actively breathable formula and moisturising complex of Urea, Pentavitin and Panthenol to treat and prevent dry skin on diabetic feet, reduce cracks and the build up of hard skin and calluses, counteract pressure marks and protect against infection and ulceration.

The company claims that the foam when applied will form a two-dimensional protective mesh on the skin, which allows skin to breathe, as well as protect it from external influences, such as bacteria.

University of Southampton Health Sciences faculty Ivan Bristow said: "The importance of foot care for those with diabetes cannot be emphasized enough. Regular foot checks can help identify complications early caused by diabetes.

"Foot care including regularly applying cream to the foot can do several things – it adds moisture to skin that is prone to dryness due to reduced sweating and reduce the chances of developing cracked heels.

"Even the act of applying a cream means that a patient with diabetes is aware of any changes to the skin on their feet."
