US-based SkinCeuticals has introduced new Replenishing Cleanser and Smoothing Cleanser to its existing range, which includes Gentle Cleanser, Simply Clean, LHA Cleanser, and Purifying Cleanser.

The new additions were developed as face washes for people that have patches of normal skin in some areas, but oily or dry skin in other areas. This is known as the combination skin type.

The cream-to-foam Replenishing Cleanser comprises key ingredients such as amino acid surfactant technology, which is claimed to deeply cleanse dirt, debris impurities, and long-wear makeup.

The face wash also includes panthenol (vitamin B5) to moisturise the skin and a ceramide complex to strengthen the skin's barrier and retain hydration.

"The new additions were developed as face washes for people that have patches of normal skin in some areas, but oily or dry skin in other areas."

Intended to cleanse sensitive or delicate skin of patients that have undergone a medical procedure, the Soothing Cleanser is said to soothe skin, featuring sorbitol and glycerin to retain moisture.

SkinCeuticals general manager Brenda Wu said: "These new cleansers combine optimised concentrations of key ingredients with a problem-solution approach to revolutionise how and why you cleanse.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer these as an effective first step for at-home cosmeceutical regimens and in-office procedures."

Available for purchase on the firm’s website, the cleansers are said to be free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, and dyes.
