Pizza Hut Restaurants introduces new lip balm in UK

Pizza Hut Restaurants (PHR) has launched a limited edition pizza-flavoured lip balm across ten of its UK stores.

The balm has been launched to mark International Kissing Day, which is celebrated on 6 July.

The balms will be offered for free to the first 30 customers who purchase a Hawaiian pizza for dine-in or collection at the participating PHR restaurants.

The offer will be provided to customers on a first-come-first-served basis, until all of the lip balms have been claimed.

PHR's communications head Gareth Hopley said: “We wanted to give diners the perfect pout for International Kissing Day and what better way than by launching a Hawaiian-inspired lip balm for our super fans.

“We spent months perfecting the lip balm and are delighted with the final results, it smells and tastes just like the real thing!”

In addition, PHR has partnered with The Robin Collective to create the new Hawaiian pizza lip balms, which combine the flavours of its classic pizza base with torn ham and sweet pineapples.

Currently, Pizza Hut UK operates 265 dine-in restaurants across England, Wales, and Scotland. It employs more than 8,000 people per month.
