Sephora to stock beauty products at Spanish supermarket chain El Corte Inglés

Sephora is set to stock its products in all the supermarkets of Spain-based El Corte Inglés by the end of this year.

The products will be sold under the new beauty department set-up within in the supermarkets, reported Globalcosmeticsnews.com.

Currently, the French firm has around 121 sales points and out of this 64 points will be located within stores of El Corte Ingles, reported Esmmagazine.com.

Sephora chief executive officer Álvarez Etxegarai was reported by Esmmagazine.com as stating that El Corte Inglés outlets are ideal as tourist shoppers visit these outlets in large numbers.

Sephora plans to annually renovate around ten of its older concessions within outlets of El Corte Inglés. It also plans to add four new concessions every year.

Founded in 1970, Sephora is a chain of cosmetics stores in France that features around 300 brands such as Urban Decay, NARS Cosmetics, and Mode Signature, as well as its own brands.

It sells a range of beauty products, including fragrance, haircare, makeup, and nail colour.

It is owned by LVMH luxury conglomerate.

El Corte Inglés is leading department store group in Europe that was founded in 1940 in Madrid, Spain.

Its flagship store in Madrid has several designer boutiques, including Armani, Hugo Boss, Dolce&Gabbana, Louis Vuitton, Lloyd’s.
