Strand Cosmetics, Marvinpac partner to provide Swiss made skin care products

Strand Cosmetics Europe and Marvinpac have forged a joint venture (JV) to provide Swiss made skin care solutions.

The JV, MS swiss cosmetics, will be based in Chatel-Saint-Denis. It will combine Strand’s formulation capacities and manufacturing proficiency with Marvinpac’s expertise.

The manufacturing, filling and packaging of the products will be conducted at the company’s location in Switzerland , thereby meeting the criteria for the ‘Swiss made’ label.

The JV will be headed by business unit manager Judith Levy, who will be reporting to associate directors Eric Bouvier, who is the CEO of Strand Cosmetics, and Marvinpac CEO Ludovic Hericher.

Judith Levy will be responsible to design a new range of fashionable "Swiss made" cosmetics and skin care cosmetic brands.

The first set of cosmetics range will be showcased at MakeUp in Seoul on 6 and 7 April 2016.

The product ranges wall also be unveiled in Dubai at the Beauty World Middle East from 15-17 May 2016 and in Shanghai at China Beauty from 18-20 May 2016.

MS Swiss Cosmetics will open its premises in June.

Lévy has a 27-year experience in the cosmetics sector, in France and other regions. She held several positions at brands such as Parfums Christian Dior, Shu Uemura, By Terry and Nuxe.

At Martine Leherpeur Conseil, she provides her knowledge in formulation and designing of cosmetics solutions.
