US oral care brand Rembrandt has launched its new power whitening toothbrush and brush heads.

The products mark Rembrandt’s entry into the toothbrush market and expand its suite of at-home teeth whitening products.

Rembrandt global brand director Don Cumming said: “As the first-ever brand solely dedicated to at-home teeth whitening, Rembrandt has historically played the role of category innovator.

“We’ve taken our depth of whitening knowhow and applied it to the toothbrush market. The result is a functional, flexible design that expands our scientifically proven, high-quality whitening approach to another segment of the daily dental care routine.”

The toothbrush features whitening and sensitive modes, as well as a rechargeable handle that is equipped with a two-minute timer and pressure sensor to indicate if brushing is too hard.

According to Rembrandt, laboratory test results for the new products demonstrated seven times more plaque removal compared to a manual toothbrush.

Inspired by professional dental tools, the new whitening toothbrush has an oscillating brush head and diamond-shaped bristles. It is claimed that the brush is capable of removing hard surface stains and achieves whiter teeth in five days.

Rembrandt also noted that the power toothbrush can be used with its toothpastes, Intense Stain and Deeply White.
