Hammer & Nails sells first location in Houston to Bill Fleming

US-based Hammer & Nails Salon Group has announced the sale of its first location in Houston, Texas, to Bill Fleming.

Fleming and area representative for Texas and New Mexico Ron Guthrie will collaborate to open a Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for men in the Towne Lake community of NW Houston.

Expected to open this year, the new shop will serve as the hub for all of the neighborhoods in the area, including Copperfield, Cypress, Cypress Towne Lakes, Black Horse, Riatta Ranch, Stone Gate, and Coles Crossing.

Ron Guthrie said: "I was drawn to area development for Hammer & Nails because it is an outstanding and already-proven first-to-market concept.

"One thing that really made a difference for me was learning that 8 out of 10 men have problems with their feet, mostly due to improper care.

“Hammer & Nails makes men feel comfortable while offering a terrific service in a business that helps with the health of men's feet and hands. And while they're here, they can get a haircut and shave, too!"

The Hammer & Nails concept features pedicures, manicures, barbering, and straight-razor shaves.

Bill Fleming has experience in fast food and retail establishments, including Stop-N-Go, Circle K, KFC, and Church's Chicken.

Guthrie has 11 years of experience owning and operating 14 franchises in the health, wellness, and beauty markets.
