Ablon Institute of Research has conducted a clinical study to demonstrate how Nutrafol can promote healthy hair growth and improve women’s overall hair quality.

Formulated with drug-free, nutraceutical ingredients, Nutrafol is a hair growth solution available in the US.

The six-month, double-blind study enroled 40 women aged between 21 and 65 years that were undergoing self-perceived hair thinning. The study evaluated each participant at baseline, day 90 and day 180.

Ablon Institute of Research Dr Glynis Ablon said: “Results from the clinical study showed that 80% of women taking Nutrafol reported significant improvement in their hair growth quality.

“We were also delighted to see that subjects taking Nutrafol reported an overall improvement in health and wellness in addition to the positive hair parameters.

“While Nutrafol focuses on hair health, the formula is thoughtfully comprised of pharmaceutical-grade botanicals that provides a true inside-out approach.”

Nutrafol co-founder and chief science and product officer Roland Peralta added: “Nutrafol’s approach to product development follows rigorous guidelines that focus on a multi-targeted approach that addresses the multiple factors of poor hair health, including stress, micro-inflammation, hormones and diet.”

Since its launch in 2015, Nutrafol has been supported by Unilever Ventures and has invested one-third of its total funds into research and development (R&D) and clinical testing.
