African Pride launches Moisture Miracle haircare collection in US

African Pride has introduced the Moisture Miracle haircare and styling collection in the US.

The collection features products such as Aloe & Coconut Water Detangle & Condition Pre-Shampoo; Honey & Coconut Oil Nourish & Shine Shampoo; and Honey, Chocolate & Coconut Oil Nourish & Restore Conditioner.

The products contain ingredients such as Moroccan red clay, aloe vera, flaxseed oil, coconut water, baobab oil, coconut oil, cacao powder, coconut milk, honey and shea butter. All of the ingredients are sourced from Africa.

African Pride marketing director Kendria Strong said: “At African Pride, we understand that women with natural kinky, coily hair textures struggle with two main issues: dryness, which can make hair hard to style and maintain; and finding the right products that work for their unique hair textures.

“When developing Moisture Miracle, we looked for quality ingredients that replenished, restored and retained a level of moisture that would provide kinky, coily hair textures with more manageability throughout the entire process of washing, styling and maintaining their hair.”

Developed to help restore moisture to dry hair, the Moisture Miracle collection is currently available for $4.49 at select Walmart stores and beauty supply stores across the US.

In addition, the company has plans to launch the Moisture Miracle collection in Dollar General stores nationwide in June this year.
