Amorepacific opens first pop-up store in New York City

South Korean beauty company Amorepacific has opened a global pop-up store on Bleecker Street in New York City, US.

Set to remain open until 25 May this year, the store will sell products from Amorepacific’s US brands, including Laneige, Annick Goutal, Sulwhasoo, Mamonde and Iope.

Amorepacific partnered with Marie Claire for a launch event for the store, which also celebrated the release of the monthly magazine’s May issue. A conference featuring officials from Marie Claire and Amorepacific was held at the event.

Amorepacific US president Jessica Hanson said: “Marie Claire is the authority when it comes to global beauty. They are always on the pulse of the most innovative and efficacious products from around the world, so when we thought of a partner to launch our pop-up store with the spotlight on global beauty, they were a perfect fit.

“We’re thrilled to open our pop up here in New York City and give consumers the opportunity to experience our leading brands in one location.”

The company will organise activities, including meet and greets with beauty experts, on-site beauty treatments and sampling of products.

Amorepacific has a portfolio of more than 20 cosmetics, personal care and healthcare brands.
