Cosmetics and personal care company Avon Products’ new APAC vice-president Bill Rahn is ready to take on responsibility for the company’s business across China, India, Malaysia, the Philippines and Taiwan.

Rahn succeeds Richard Pinnock, who will lead a new global sales function at Avon.

Avon Products’ new APAC vice-president will report to the company’s global president Miguel Fernandez and joins the company’s management committee.

Avon Products’ CEO Jan Zijderveld said: “APAC is an attractive, high-priority region with strategic importance for Avon.

Prior to this role, Rahn was the senior vice-president and managing director for Herbalife’s APAC division. He managed the company’s business in various markets, including Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia and India.

Fernandez said: “Bill’s wealth of experience and the strength of his achievements leading direct selling businesses in APAC will enable him to hit the ground running, taking Avon’s business in the region to the next level.

“Richard Pinnock and his new team will focus on building and delivering a world-class experience for our six million direct selling representatives to support them in growing their businesses.”
