Speciality chemicals company Clariant has launched new beauty range Playing with Beauty!

The new line features a skin cleanser, a body wash, and a hair gel, which contain natural raw materials and state-of-the-art technologies.

Developed without the use of solvents, silicones and parabens, the skin cleanser features two layers of lemon mousse and honey gel to create a soft creamy emulsion that changes into a peel-off transparent film.

“Playing with Beauty! is a genuine leap forward in leveraging the power of nature combined with technology to provide an effective, creative and personal beauty care experience.”

This mask is designed to remove impurities from the skin and protect against the effects of indoor pollution. The cleanser is also claimed to provide a radiant complexion.

The body wash has the consistency of modelling clay and can be moulded into the desired shape. The paste then changes into a colourful foam when coming into contact with water.

The body wash is free from sodium laureth sulfate and polyethylene glycol, and is infused with natural emollients to restore the skin’s lipid barrier function. The product is ideal for kids, adults and those with sensitive skin.

The hair gel provides a blue-white glow under ultraviolet (UV) light and is invisible in daylight. It is claimed that the gel also offers a moisturising effect on the hair and scalp.

Clariant industrial and consumer specialities business unit marketing manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Juan Pablo Duque said: “Playing with Beauty! is a genuine leap forward in leveraging the power of nature combined with technology to provide an effective, creative and personal beauty care experience in what has become a rather impersonal, automated ritual.

“It will not only enliven the daily beauty care regime for adults, but will encourage those more reticent consumers such as children and those with sensitive skin to develop a regular, happy and effective beauty regime.”
