The company’s global leadership team consists of experts in disciplines such as cosmetic chemistry, herbal science, dermatology, biotechnology, and optical spectroscopy.

Codex Beauty chief communications officer Dianne Vavra said: “The cosmetics market is saturated with products that make a strong first impression on consumers but lack quantifiable results.

“To empower consumers to select products that are right for them, Codex embodies a strong belief that information transparency and regulatory compliance are critical.”

Codex chief operating officer Sunna Helgadottir added: “Codex utilizes a pharmaceutical approach to manufacturing and adheres to strict quality standards, so clean beauty customers can be confident that all products are safe.

“Codex also strives to offer products that perform well, and whose efficacy can be clinically demonstrated.  We look forward to sharing these results with our customers.”

According to Codex, it is committed to quality and science in manufacturing their products. It claims to maintain selective ingredient sourcing and analyses extraction processes of the key compounds used in its products.

The formulation of each product at Codex is claimed to be based on herbal and dermatological science. The manufacturing processes of the company match the standards of the pharmaceutical companies and adhere to current good manufacturing practices (cGMP) guidelines.

Codex chief international business officer Jacqueline Kissenpfennig said: “With our diverse team of experts and proprietary development processes, Codex Beauty is able to bridge that gap and offer products that are efficacious and are derived from the best plant ingredients our world has to offer.”
