Customisable hair colourants developer eSalon has decided to rebrand as part of its strategic multi-vertical strategy.

The rebranding will involve a new logo, packaging and product names, which will be developed by design company COLLINS.

Founded in 2010, eSalon uses engineering technologies to deliver professional, custom hair colourants formulated and dispensed at its headquarters in Los Angeles, US.

eSalon CEO and co-founder Francisco Gimenez said: “It’s been an incredible journey so far, but I’ve never been more excited about eSalon’s future than I am now.

“The rebranding will involve a new logo, packaging and product names.”

“To us, a revitalised brand was not just something we felt compelled to put forward, but something we deemed necessary to position us for this next stage of growth.”

The brand has also moved its headquarters to a new 39,000ft2 facility in California with the capacity to generate more than 40,000 individually blended colour containers per day.

The new building will feature a new on-site Color Studio where an in-house colourist will provide one-on-one consultation and colour application for customers who make a full-service appointment.

In addition, the new facility will host a new manufacturing system called Polly Chrome that simultaneously dispenses up to eight custom orders within 20 seconds.
