Eurazeo Brands has invested $60m in Pat McGrath Labs.

So far, Pat McGrath Labs has received a total investment of $88m. The firm intends to use the funds to expand its distribution in the US and meet increasing global product demand.

Eurazeo Brands is a global investment firm based in France, while Pat McGrath Labs is makeup artist Pat McGrath’s cosmetics brand.

Soap & Glory has collaborated with Tough Mudder to become its beauty sponsor for all 2018 challenge events in North America.

The sponsorship will include 21 Tough Mudder event days, which will reflect strength, endurance and athleticism, combining resistance training, bodyweight moves, dynamic stretching and cardio-focused drills.

Soap & Glory will provide its new bath and body fragrance Call of Fruity at the event’s rinse stations and changing tents. It will also unveil a reimagined form of Tough Mudder’s obstacle Kiss of Mud.

Aurora Cannabis has entered a partnership agreement with Evio Beauty Group for the development and production of new cosmetics derived from cannabis.

The partnership allows the two firms to develop a line of cannabidiol (CBD) infused cosmetics and co-branded non-infused hemp seed oil products.

Procter & Gamble (P&G) intends to acquire First Aid Beauty for $250m.

P&G is a consumer goods company and its skincare product range includes Olay, Aussie, Herbal Essences and SK-II.

Established in 2009, First Aid Beauty provides everyday skin essentials and targeted skincare solutions.

The acquisition complements the existing product line of P&G.

LeapFrog Investments has completed an acquisition of a majority stake in Ascent Meditech.

LeapFrog is an emerging markets-focused private equity firm, while Ascent Meditech is the health company behind the Flamingo brand based in India.

Glamsquad has acquired Veluxe.

Glamsquad is involved in the beauty services industry, while Veluxe is a provider of beauty and wellness services.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.

The transaction is expected to increase Glamsquad’s presence in the Washington DC market.
