Skincare and wellness products company Neora has added ‘Age IQ Invisi-Bloc Sunscreen Gel’ to its line-up of skincare essentials.

A broad-spectrum SPF 40, Invisi-Bloc provides protection from premature ageing due to the sun’s ultraviolet rays, a major risk factor for most skin cancers, digital blue light from smartphones, computers, TVs and LEDs, as well as environmental pollution and smoke.

Invisi-Bloc can be applied daily in the morning and Neora claims that the clear formula ensures quick and easy absorption without any streaks or residue.

The product includes Kapaphycusalvarezii extract and Caesalpiniaspinosa fruit extract, which help create a smooth and perfecting finish.

It also includes Eco-Veil, a proprietary blend that acts as the skin’s natural barrier, shielding the skin from blue light damage and pollution.

Invisi-Bloc also contains an antioxidant complex in the form of a combination of vitamins E and P (bioflavonoids), aloe and broccoli.

The Texas-based company said that it has used an innovative encapsulation technology that creates microcapsules of environmentally friendly SPF actives containing UVA and UVB filters, which quickly and easily absorb into the skin, and create a smooth feel.

Neora co-founder and chief sales and marketing officer Amber Olson Rourke said: “We all know that wearing a daily SPF is what’s best for our skin – not only to prevent early skin aging but also to prevent the kind of sun damage that leads to a lot of skin issues.

“But most people don’t like the feel of a traditional SPF. It’s thick, it clogs your pores, and it doesn’t have the nice feel of a moisturizer.”

The company said that Invisi-Bloc is vegan and does not contain parabens; synthetic colour; synthetic fragrance; propylene glycol; gluten; sulphates; genetically modified organisms (GMOs); oxybenzone; and octinoxate.

Invisi-Bloc will be available in the US from 1 May 2019 for $59 retail or $44 auto-delivery order, through the company’s independent brand partners or at neora.com.
