US-based laser hair and tattoo removal treatment provider Extinktion has made an investment in the ReSmooth and Duality systems developed by Astanza.

Using Astanza Duality, Extinktion will be able to remove either whole tattoos or particular sections of a design, as well as offer tattoo lightening services in preparation for a cover-up.

Extinktion’s owner Matthew Sandell said: “We’re committed to the process of safe removal and value high patient care and satisfaction above all else.

“Our goal is to make all things unwanted go extinct, whether it be bothersome hair, an old tattoo, even age spots and vascular lesions, Extinktion has the solution.”

“We’re committed to the process of safe removal and value high patient care.”

Astanza ReSmooth is an advanced diode laser that uses an integrated cooling system to cool the skin during treatment. The system is equipped with 810nm and 940nm wavelengths to target a comprehensive range of ink colours for tattoo removal and deep follicles for hair removal.

Astanza’s representative Opal Taskila said: “Extinktion is reshaping the aesthetic industry in Grand Forks and other surrounding cities.

“They’re providing the most popular aesthetic and laser cosmetic procedures to transform people’s skin and positively change lives.”

The Trinity medical device comprises a neodymium-doped yttrium aluminium garnet (Nd:YAG) laser and a ruby combination laser that uses three wavelengths to remove or lighten a wide range of tattoo ink colours.

Trinity is said to be safe for all skin types and its three wavelengths are claimed to remove more ink in each treatment session.
