Global cosmetics brand Flormar has entered the Indian market through an exclusive partnership with Reliance Retail.

Headquartered in Turkey, Flormar has a large portfolio of foundations, blushers, eyeshadows, mascaras, lipsticks, nail polishes, accessories and skincare products that are sold in 100 countries worldwide.

Reliance Trends CEO Akhilesh Prasad was quoted by PTI as saying: ”We are launching Flormar in select 30-40 Reliance Trends stores to understand the customer preference with respect to shades and product choices.

“Reliance Trends intends to launch an initial 300 stock keeping units (SKU) out of Flormar’s 700 SKUs.”

“We are doing this to get the right product range for the Indian market. Later, we will launch the brand across all our stores.”

Reliance Retail Limited (RRL) is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries (RIL) that operates close to 3,800 stores in India. Reliance Trends is the fashion and accessory unit of RRL.

Flormar CEO Cem Şenbay was Zee News as saying: “Our journey in India has just begun with Trends. In line with our global philosophy, Flormar’s endeavour will be to add more colour and beauty to the incredible women of India.”
