Magnit partners with Delivery Club for cosmetics delivery

Russian retailer Magnit has partnered with Delivery Club for the launch of an express delivery from Magnit Cosmetic stores.

Currently, Delivery Club couriers have delivered products from Magnit Cosmetic stores in Krasnodar and Ekaterinburg.

From next year, the service will be extended to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, and other major cities that Magnit operates in.

Under this facility, products will be delivered in 30 to 45 minutes and does not need any minimum order. The delivery charge is based on the order amount.

Delivery Club users will be able to access approximately 6,600 stock-keeping units (SKUs) from Magnit Cosmetic stores that includes care and decorative cosmetics, household chemicals and home care products.

The goods will be delivered in compliance with all of the requirements of Russian legislation. Delivery Club, in order to achieve that, developed special sealed bags for the delivery.

Magnit Cosmetic is the first specialised partner of Delivery Club for cosmetics delivery.

Magnit deputy CEO and executive director Florian Jansen said: “Express delivery of care and decorative cosmetics supplemented by a broad assortment of home care products and household chemicals is a service that currently has no match in Russian retail, and so we’re certain that this project will be successful.
