Ashland Specialty Ingredients opens R&D Lab in Bridgewater

Ashland Specialty Ingredients, a unit of America’s fortune 500 company, Ashland Inc has opened its 200,000 square-foot R&D Lab in Bridgewater.

In March last year, Ashland announced its plans to relocate Speciality Ingredients team to Bridgewater.

Addressing the press, Specialty Ingredients president Luis Fernandez-Moreno said: "We appreciate the tremendous support shown by Lt. Gov. Guadagno and the Christie Administration as Ashland evaluated potential sites for the relocation."

"The Bridgewater site is close to many of our largest customers, especially in the pharmaceutical and personal care markets. Throughout the relocation process, the state of New Jersey has demonstrated its sincere commitment to working with Ashland as we position our business for future growth," he added.

Lt Governor said that Bridgewater was ideal place for business.
