Birmingham Cosmetic to offer Allergan’s Voluma treatment in Michigan

Michigan-based Birmingham Cosmetic Surgery & Vein Center has been selected by pharmaceutical firm Allergan to offer Voluma treatment.

Cosmetic surgery specialist Dr. Rouchdi Rifai has been selected to offer the Voluma treatment, considering his expertise in the field.

Approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Voluma is the first and only filler that temporarily corrects age-related volume loss in cheeks in adults with more than 21 years of age.

Rifai said that Voluma is an exciting, newly approved filler from the hyaluronic acid family of Juvéderm.

"It will be satisfying a current void in filling of the cheeks and mid-face areas that often lose significant volume with age."

"Voluma is placed deeper in the tissues than other Juvéderm products and is formulated to have a longer life, up to two years," Rifai added.
