Deals this week: Lubrizol, Walgreens Boot Alliance

Lubrizol has signed an extension agreement with Essential Ingredients for the distribution of its personal care and homecare products in the US.

Essential Ingredients has been distributing Lubrizol’s products since 2007 in the eastern US.

Walgreens Boot Alliance has signed a ten-year binding agreement with Fareva to supply and distribute its own beauty brands and a selection of private label products.

Fareva is a subcontractor based in France, while Walgreens is based in the US.

The alliance’s contract manufacturing business BCM will be owned by Fareva after the transaction.

BCM operates in the UK, France, and Germany.
