Deals this week: Proctor & Gamble and ModiFace

Proctor & Gamble (P&G) has announced its partnership with global wholesale trade platform Alibaba.com.

The partnership will enable multi-national consumer goods company P&G to expand its online presence in China. The company plans to launch new products and brand-building initiatives to gain 700 million online users through Alibaba’s digital platform.

ModiFace has formed a partnership with Latin American cosmetic brand Cyzone, to launch a make-up app for the iOS and Android platforms.

The new app will include ModiFace's facial tracking and make-up rendering technology, which will enable cusatomers to try on products digitally with photorealistic imaging.

An augmented reality technology developer, ModiFace offers products and services such as custom web and mobile apps, visual e-commerce, and in-store digital mirrors for the beauty industry.
