Deals this Week: Sundrug, Orchid Asia Group and Eastern Bell Venture Capital

Sundrug and Arcs Group, both based in Japan, have announced the forming of a 60:40 joint venture (JV) company that will manage drug stores and deal in retailing of medicals along with foods, daily necessities and cosmetics.

The new JV is expected to be formed by June.

Orchid Asia Group Management and Eastern Bell Venture Capital, both venture capital firms based in China, have provided Series B round of funding to a Chinese company, Guangzhou Weimeizi Individual Nursing Articles Co.

The borrower company produces air purifying products, and personal care products in skin, oral health, baby and haircare segments.
