Flameret to launch Cannasone cream

Flameret, a provider of a fire barrier product named Flamex, has announced plans to launch Cannasone, a hemp cream rich in CBD (cannabidiol).

The skincare cream comes in 8oz bottles and will be retailed through its wholly-owned subsidiary Royal Hemp. Each 8oz bottle of Cannasone will be infused with 200mg of CBD (cannabidiol) derived from industrial hemp.

To be launched in one week, Cannasone will be available only in the US market as of now.

Flameret chief executive officer John Meredith said: "We are thrilled that we can deliver this news to the marketplace. Flameret already has an exciting product available for sale in our high CBD hemp oil and we are cautiously optimistic about the commercial potential of Cannasone. We are now one of only a handful of companies in the world selling hemp oil rich in CBD.

"We expect many calls from our shareholders and investors throughout the world asking about sales estimates on Cannasone™. Although we expect significant interest, we will not provide any sales estimates at this time," Meredith added.

According to scientific and clinical studies, CBD has demonstrated neuroprotective and neurogenic effects, and its anti-cancer properties are currently being investigated at several academic research centers in the US and elsewhere.

Recently, Flameret announced the launch of Cannadol (high CBD hemp oil) and also confirmed the shipment of orders for Cannadol.
