Fleur de Santés develops skincare products using champagne and plant cells

Swedish skincare firm Laboratoire Fleur de Santés has developed new Champagne Collection using plant stemcells and medicinal flowers to protect and nourish the skin.

The Extrait de Champagne helps reduce the damaging marks, such as wrinkles, sagging skin, dark spots, caused by photo-ageing.

This extract is claimed to restore the skin's structural tissue, collagen, and elastin to make it more resistant to various environmental aggressors, the company stated.

According to the company, champagne protects skin from free radicals and stress caused by breathing in pollution or being unprotected from UV light.

Laboratoire Fleur de Santé CEO Mathias Tonnesson said: "Antioxidant rich, Champagne extract is used in our products because it's incredibly effective at protecting and nourishing your skin. We believe that beautiful, healthy skin is worth celebrating every day.”

Fleur de Santés also used grape seed phyto-stemcell's Resveratrol.

The phyto-stem cells have the ability to counteract the negative effect of the UV light, maintain skin stem cell's functions and reinforce their capacity to grow, which in turn slows down the skin aging process.

These cells are also claimed to accelerate regeneration and the tissue building functions of skin, therefore resulting in restoration of firmness and wrinkle reduction.
