HORN appoints vice-president for HORN Care Elements

US-based specialty ingredients, chemicals and raw materials distributor HORN has announced Chris Lesko as the vice-president of HORN Care Elements.

Lesko will help strengthen HORN's presence within the western US territory while expanding its footprint in the south-west.

HORN Specialties president Jeff Martin said: “Finding the right VP to take HORN Care Elements to the next level was a top priority this year.

"His industry connections, extensive experience serving niche markets and steady history of surpassing sales, profit and distribution objectives assure us he is the right person for the job.”

Lesko joined HORN from Glenn, an Azelis Americas company. His former employers are BASF, Lubrizol’s Noveon Consumer Products and DKSH North America.

Lesko has served as the house chairperson for the California Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) since 2010.
