Japanese multinational personal care company Shiseido has unveiled skincare range Waso, which includes a cream, three moisturisers, a polisher, a cleanser, and a lotion.

The Waso range has been launched under the firm’s Shiseido brand. It will be available from July in certain Asian countries and online in the US. The new range is targeted at millennials.

Shiseido’s new collection comprises whole botanical cells formulated using the firm’s new whole cell release system. It is designed to address skincare concerns such as dryness, oiliness, and visible pores.

The new Clear Mega-hydrating Cream comprises whole carrot cells that are designed to instantly plump, soften, and nourish the skin throughout the day.

With whole loquat leaf cells, the Quick Matte Moisturiser Oil-free is an oil-balancing clear gel emulsion and is claimed to mattify the skin for a smooth, hydrated effect with less shine.

The skin-brightening Colour-Smart Day Moisturiser consists of whole carrot cells. The product is said to change the colour of skin to improve tone and deliver long-lasting hydration.

Soft + Cushy Polisher has a texture similar to tofu. It is a skin-refining exfoliating polish that is designed to clear complexion.

The Quick Gentle Cleanser contains honey and foams without water to remove makeup and impurities.

The hydrating Fresh Jelly Lotion consists of white jelly mushrooms that penetrate and plump the skin.

The firm plans to further launch the Waso range in other markets in the coming months and next year.
