L’OCCITANE to open new store in Georgia

French natural beauty retailer L’OCCITANE has unveiled its newest store in Atlanta, Georgia.

The flagship is the fifth L’OCCITANE boutique to open in the Atlanta area and is one of 17 stores to open in the new, $1bn Buckhead Atlanta development.

L’OCCITANE CEO David Boynton said: "L’Occitane takes great care in selecting where we open our beautiful flagship stores around the world and so we are delighted that our third flagship in the US, and the first in Georgia, is opening in the magnificent Buckhead Atlanta shopping center."

L’OCCITANE claims that the 2,725ft² Buckhead flagship boutique is the brand’s largest in the US and one of its first new ‘Provence Home’ concept stores.

L’Occitane is an international retailer of body, face, and home products based in Manosque. The company sources majority of its production from Provence and one of their main product l’Immortelle plants (Helichrysum italicum) from Corsica from producers who rely on traditional production methods.

L’Occitane develops most of its products and ingredients in line with the organic cosmetics specifications of Ecocert.
