Oral-B introduces new toothpaste in UK market

Formulated with stablised stannous fluoride, the new toothpaste provides care and protection in all the eight areas the dentist checks most, reported timesofmalta.com.

According to the firm, the new toothpaste aims to protect tooth decaying and whitening, defends against gums, freshens breath and reduces sensitivity.

The firm said the new product’s two key ingredients such as stannous fluoride stops bacteria breeding and plugs the microscopic holes, which lead to sensitivity; while polyphosphate whitens teeth and stops building up of new stains.

P&G said the toothpaste during trials has removed up to 96% of surface stains in two weeks and also decreased sensitivity and reduced plaque and tartar more than standard brands, leaving fresh breath for longer periods.
