Pacgen to distribute DermaMed and Deserving Health’s personal care portfolio

Pacgen Life Science has signed agreements with DermaMed Pharmaceutical and its affiliated division Deserving Health International to acquire the global marketing, sales, and distribution rights for the firms’ personal care products.

The agreements include a portfolio of more than 50 natural therapeutic and personal care offerings across the DermaMed, DermaSoleil, and Deserving Health brands.

They also provide Pacgen with access to DermaMed's existing distribution network and warehousing facilities.

Founded in 1997, DermaMed is a Canadian natural therapeutic products manufacturer, while Deserving Health focuses on development of natural personal care products with organic ingredients.

DermaMed uses phyto-technology and botanical extraction technology to formulate personal care products such as therapeutic balms, sun protection, cosmetics, and private label offerings.

DermaMed and Deserving Health's founder Bernard Armani said: "The growth potential in the personal healthcare market is attractive given the current emerging trends in preventive health and wellness."

"In addition, the convergence of interests of traditional pharmaceutical companies and non-traditional science-based consumer health companies has the potential to contribute to further growth in the personal healthcare sector.”

Pacgen’s existing personal care product portfolio includes P113 containing oral health and feminine hygiene products, which are marketed in Taiwan and Southern China under the brand Oh-Care.

The firm plans to leverage its current Asian distribution networks to expand the markets of DermaMed, DermaSoleil, and Deserving Health.
