Perfumer Claude André Hébert creates five new fragrances

Drawing inspiration from different parts of the city, the fragrances include natural ingredients imported from Grasse, France.

À l’ombre des clochers, Notre-Dame, Ville-Marie, Métropole, and Mont-Royal are currently available for purchase at the perfumer's store, reported Theweathernetwork.com.

Hébert began to create his own collection in 2002. Prior to that, he worked for Thierry Mugler Parfumerie, Aramis, and Lancaster.

Inspired by old Montreal, À l’ombre des clochers includes cardamom and cinnamon scents, while Notre-Dame contains spices and is meant for special occasions, reported ctvnews.

Ville-Marie imparts a fragrance inspired by North American cities, while Métropole has tobacco and hops fragrances and Mont-Royal has grass, fir, birch, and lilac scents.

The ingredients imported from France were initially blended with corn alcohol.
