Radium Medical launches new anti-ageing treatment

Singapore-based Radium Medical Aesthetics has launched new anti-ageing skincare device Lasmed.

Developed using new Korean laser cosmeceutical delivering system (CDS) technology, the treatment is intended to improve complexion by addressing various skin concerns.

Intended to heal and improve the skin, the device employs a combination of advanced fibre-based lasers to insert Lasmed ampoules into the skin through micro-wounds. These are closed during recovery and the ampoules’ active ingredients are absorbed into the skin’s dermis layer.

Radium Medical Aesthetics medical director Dr Siew Tuck Wah said: “This is probably the game-changer of today's laser treatment in aesthetic medicine."

Lasmed produces an optical beam to minimise thermal distortion, which has a diameter is 100µm to ensure better patient comfort.

The laser also features multi-nanosome granulated (MNG) technology, which keeps the ampoules’ preservative and chemical-free active ingredients fresh.

Lasmed features Vitamin C ampoules with antioxidants for healthy collagen production and Tranexamic Acid (TA) ampoule to assist wound recovery.

The range also comprises Vitamin A ampoules for anti-ageing and anti-oxidant effects, as well as a resveratrol (RS) ampoule to minimise wrinkle appearance and increase skin firmness.

Suitable for any skin type, the laser can be used for cosmeceutical delivery, improvement of skin tone and texture, and pigment lightening.
