The Body Shop opens new store in Chile

Skincare retailer The Body Shop has opened a new store in Santiago, Chile.

The store is the company's first in Chile and it features beauty and skincare products such as Sea body butter, the Vitamin E range, Oils of Life, and Drops of Youth.

The Body Shop's Latin America director Paul Kimberley said: "We are excited to bring The Body Shop brand to Chile. 

“After opening in Mexico in 1993 and Brazil in 2014, this is our third market in Latin America and we are convinced the region offers growth potential and opportunities for development.

"We will work with colleagues in L'Oréal Chile, benefiting from their regional expertise and customer insight to help us deliver first class products and service to suit the Chilean market."

The Body Shop has strong connections with Latin America, with nine of its suppliers located in the region.

The company has been tapping into the region’s natural resources, such as organic Brazil nut oil from Peru, soy from Brazil, and cane sugar from Paraguay.

Established in 1976 in by Anita Roddick, The Body Shop offers skincare, hair care, and make-up products produced in an ethical and sustainable way.
