The Gents Place plan to open 18 franchise locations in Florida

Men's grooming club The Gents Place has announced plans to expand its presence in Florida with 18 franchise locations.

The Gents Place was founded in 2008 by Benjamin Davis. He said: "Male grooming is a booming, multi-billion dollar industry as more men are looking for concepts that cater to their needs-including haircuts, shaves, and hand and foot repair. The Gents Place offers consumers high-end salon and spa treatments in a luxurious atmosphere

"With strong demographic and socioeconomic relevance, Florida is an exciting market to expand our footprint and franchise development in these markets will prove to be a lucrative and valued investment for prospective owners."

The firm claims to provide the best hair and shaving services, as well as spa facilities. It also sells hard-to-find retail goods such as Rascal, Truefitt & Hill, and Lakme.

Over the next five years, the firm intends to open 150 franchised locations and is currently seeking single and multi-unit franchisees with a minimum net worth of $400,000 and liquid assets of at least $175,000.

The expansion is also being supported by a brand management and development company Elevated Brands.

In addition to grooming service, The Gents Place also offers a range of straight razor shaves.
