Univar strikes deal to distribute Evonik personal care products in Northeastern US

Univar, a global chemical distributor, has inked a deal with Evonik Corporation to exclusive distribute Evonik personal care products in the Northeastern US.

Evonik is a multinational specialty chemical manufacturer, specialising in ingredients and concepts for effective skin, hair, and body care products.

The Evonik personal care portfolio consists of a unique and comprehensive range of organic and silicone-based specialties designed as raw materials for personal care products and active ingredients for the protection of skin and hair.

Both the companies believe that this agreement strengthens the successful relationship between them, and leverages the combined strength of Univar’s distribution service and Evonik’s product portfolio.

Univar Personal and Household Care Industry Sr. director Kelly Gilroy said: "We are very excited to expand our relationship with Evonik and are pleased to be chosen as an exclusive distributor for its leading personal care portfolio.

Evonik will continue to sell their silicone-based products directly.
