Young Living opens Northern Lights Farm in Canada

Young Living Essential Oils has opened its Northern Lights Farm in Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada.

The company is expected to leverage on the rich soil, water resources and black spruce trees in Fort Nelson to produce its Northern Lights Black Spruce essential oil.

The oil is a major component of the popular Young Living essential oil blends, namely Valor II, Peace & Calming II and Shutran.

Young Living founder and chairman of the board Gary Young said: "I am honoured to share Northern Lights with our members and the local community, who have supported this endeavour from day one."

The Northern Lights Farm will house a distillery, a conference and education centre, and is planning to add a visitor centre, spa and lodge.

The opening event witnessed the staging of the Canadian convention and the celebration of the company’s first Farm Day at Northern Lights, which involved members of Young Living and the local community.
