Younique launches new enhanced Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+

US-based Younique has announced the launch of new Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes+.

While the name of the new lash enhancer remains the same as its predecessor, everything from the transplanting gel to the 3D fibers and applicator has been recreated.

The transplanting gel formula helps provide better adhesion, with conditioning and moisturising effects, while the new 3D Fibers are made of Nylon fortified with squalane. This serves as the essential ingredient in Younique Royalty Uplift Beauty Serum to provide a nourishing base for smoother coating.

Separately, beauty products manufacturer Coty has signed an agreement to acquire a 60% stake of Younique for about $600m.

The partnership will combine Younique’s e-commerce platform and social selling direct-to-consumer business model with Coty’s beauty product research and development (R&D), as well as its manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.

Together, Younique and Coty expect to accelerate the product offering and geographical expansion of Younique.
